African Americans with Class III or IV Heart Failure - Stay on current therapy with addition of study medication, ages 18 and older
Type 2 Diabetes with Class II or II Heart Failure - Taking oral diabetes medication or insulin
Type 2 Diabetes with Class I Cardiac Disease - Ages 18-79, taking oral diabetes medication only (no insulin)
Atrial Fibrillation - Taking Coumadin, must have at least 1 other risk factor for ASHD
Painful Diabetic Neuropathy - Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
Insulin Injecting Device - Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, ages 60 and older, living in an assisted living facility or having caregiver aid with insulin injection, taking N or NPH 70/30 insulin only (not regular insulin)
Genitourinary
Unstable Bladder - Male or female, currently taking medication for this indication
Vulvovaginal Candidiasis - Ages 12 and older, 7-day treatment, no placebo, complete gynecological exam
Genital Herpes - Must have at least 4 occurrences per year, ages 18-65
HIV Positive
Wasting Syndrome - Lost 10% of highest weight since HIV+
